Because our magazine focuses on traditional muzzleloading, this discussion site is also devoted to pre-1840, traditional muzzleloading topics only. The Campfire is open to discussions about traditional, historical aspects of muzzleloading, reenacting, shooting, hunting and gunbuilding. Posts that are unrelated to traditional muzzleloading or associated activities will be removed. Contemporary products or methods are allowed if they pertain to traditional, open-sight muzzleloaders and/or historical reenacting and related activities.

This is a family-oriented site. Offensive language of any kind will be removed. Likewise, this is a true online community, so each member deserves to be treated with civility. Flaming won't be tolerated.

No advertising products for sale is allowed. Any posts concerning objects for sale will be removed. Discussions involving building or making items are welcome, as long as direct solicitation of sales is not involved.

These are essentially the rules under which our discussion page has always operated. The "Tall Tales" forum is for more general stories and visiting with one another, but discussion of strictly modern topics and products should be avoided unless related to muzzleloading.
